Ariana got her first pet a couple of weeks ago. He is a beautiful beta fish named Max. She named him after one of her favorite shows 'Max & Ruby'. I didn't want to introduce him earlier, because he wouldn't eat for a week! I didn't want to post, 'Hey meet Max', and then post 'R.I.P.'. Anyway, we love him, and he's such a good fish. :)
I swear this fish is a genius. I am 100% positive Max winked at me the other day. I was talking to him, trying to prove to Brad that he should start trying to have a relationship with this fish, when BAM he winked! Kid you not! Brad could care less about the fish. I think he's jealous.

my kids first pet was a beta fish too! I'm not too sure about the fish winking at you tho? Maybe he had something in his eye?
I love Max already and we haven't even met! That picture of Ari and Max is got to be the most darling picture I've ever seen! Are we still planning on Gavin and Ari meeting in about 20 years?

What a beautiful fish! I think it's great that Ari has a pet. It's good for kids, I think.
We got Julia a beta as well. His name is Sloopy and he was really exciting for a little while and now it's just a pain to clean his nasty fish bowl. But that's what husbands are for.
